Top Ten (Confused) Pharmacist New Year Resoultions

It’s that time of the year. To reflect upon the past twelve months. I will focus on the professional aspect of that question. In our work lives, could we have done things better, both for our customers and for ourselves? Has your drug dealing been all it could have been?

Should we have taken that job and left our comfortable position for the unknown, or perhaps we were a mean Pharmacist-In-Charge, and made the intern cry when she said she thought Docusate was for stopping diarrhea. Did we make the intern look up a question for half an hour during her lunch break when we knew how obscure and hard the answer was, just to prove a point about not being overconfident that they know everything?

One thing’s for sure, I like this sign I’ve attached, this pharmacist’s resolution seems to be to not overtire themselves, which is an important point. No point helping our customers’ health while ours plummets. “I DON’T CARE if you’re opening at 7am, I ain’t coming in til 8 like I always do!”. Anyway, onto the Top Ten…
